Last week, I spent a whole day cleaning my cupboard and decluttering up space. I follow an easy method to declutter – I divide them into four categories: Trash, Donate, Share and Treasure. I threw out the trash, donated to people who need, shared with family and friends and kept the ones I treasure. As I was looking with a satisfied smile on my face at my decluttered space, I started thinking about how I could do the same with my mind space. I took 2-3 sheets of paper and made two clouds – One titled as Treasure on one sheet and Trash on another sheet. I connected with my unconscious and allowed all the beliefs that I had about myself to flow into the paper. I wrote all the positive and empowering beliefs on the paper that had the Treasure cloud, and all the negative thoughts in the trash cloud. I took few minutes to be grateful for the empowering beliefs and read them aloud. When I reflected on the negative and limiting beliefs, I realised that they did have a positive intention, therefore I took the learnings and lessons from them. I kept the treasure cloud in my journal and enjoyed tearing up the sheet with the trash cloud. I call this game as my “Wins and Lessons" Game.
